PRESS RELEASE: Home Farm House garden opens for local charity

 In Fundraising, Media

On Tuesday 11th June, from 2pm to 4pm, Home Farm House, Hursley, will open its garden to the public to raise funds for Friends of the Family, a local charity offering support to children and families across the Winchester district.

The professionally-designed garden, incorporating wetlands, tree-lined walks, open sporting lawns, and a cottage walled garden to the front, surrounds the Home Farm collection of buildings which date back to the early 19th Century.

Chair of Trustees, Viv Wheeler, said: “This is a unique opportunity to visit a stunning garden, not normally open to the public, whilst raising funds for a small, local charity. I would urge all garden enthusiasts to attend.”

Parking is free and refreshments will be available to purchase. Tickets are £10 and must be bought in advance. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.co.uk or call Friends of the Family on 01962 864466.
