An Amazing Activity Day!

Our 5s to 13s Befriending Service had an amazing day at Calshot Activity Centre on 12 August. The day was organised by Befriending Manager Sam Hunt, who, along with five volunteer befrienders, accompanied 11 children on a day full of thrills and excitement. Activities included ringos, bouldering and the giant swing. There was even time for a scavenger hunt on the beach. Sam said: “We were so proud of all of the children for trying something new and for supporting each other. Thank you to the St Vincent de Paul Society at St Peters Church for providing the funding for such a memorable day. Thank you also to our wonderful volunteer befrienders and bus drivers. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
