Our partners
Friends of the Family is proud to work in partnership with other local and national organisations and individuals. Without their continued support we would not be able to offer children and families the unique services that we do.
Strong working relationships
We liaise with all other family services in Winchester and its surrounding villages. Families and children are referred from: Hampshire Children’s Services, health visitors, social workers, police, GPs, mental health workers, local schools, the prison and local Children’s Centres and Home-Start. In turn we signpost our families to relevant community services.

Funders
Over the last five years we have applied to and obtained funding from:
- The National Lottery Community Fund
- Hampshire County Council
- Winchester City Council
- Community First
- The Lady Balogh’s Psychotherapy Trust
- Winchester Round Table
- Sir James Scott
- Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Community Fund
We are also very grateful to the Winchester Quakers for their kindness and generosity, providing the office from which we work and the use of the Quaker Meeting House from which our Mums and young children group runs.

Corporate partners
Our local TSB branch chose us as their nominated charity for three years running, and the Salvation Army’s Winchester branch continues to be a close and supportive partner.
In the past we have also been grateful to receive financial support from Rathbones Investment Management for the refurbishment of the office and practical support from Scottish Widows (part of Lloyds Banking Group) for redecorating the outbuildings.
Generous benefactors
We have been very fortunate to be the beneficiary of substantial donations from:
- A private Hampshire charitable trust
- Elizabeth and Price Zaiger Charitable Trust
- Paul Lunn-Rockcliffe Trust
