Friends of the Family has received a grant of £2,500 from the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation to help fund its work supporting children in the Winchester district. The Foundation was set up 26 years ago by the founders of the St James Place Wealth Management Group and has so far raised over £50 million.

Kaye Crush, Financial Advisor and Partner of St James Place Wealth Management, visited Friends of the Family on 1 November to present the cheque to Viv Wheeler, Chair of Trustees and Sam Hunt, 5s to 13s Befriending Manager.

Kaye said: “The Foundation has a particular focus on young people and making a positive difference to their lives. We are therefore delighted to award this grant to Friends of the Family who do such great work supporting children across the Winchester district.”

Accepting the cheque on the charity’s behalf, Chair of Trustees Viv Wheeler said: “We are thrilled to receive such a substantial sum from St James’s Place Charitable Foundation. This year, Friends of the Family is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and this donation will make a huge difference to the children and families we work with.”
