Friends of the Family welcomes the High Sheriff of Hampshire

 In Events, News and events

It was an honour to welcome the High Sheriff of Hampshire, Revd Sue Colman, to our office on 22nd July. The High Sheriff met with staff and trustees to find out more about our work supporting families and children, from across the Winchester district, who are facing difficult circumstances. She was also very keen to learn about the role our volunteers play in the local community.

The High Sheriff said: “Friends of the Family, with proven wisdom and compassion, and a track record of excellent resources which they have developed, enable parents and children to flourish together. It is the sort of charity that would be great to be able to bottle up and replicate all over the place!”
