Garden Party for ‘The Great Together’ raises over £1,300 for Friends of the Family

On Friday 16th June trustee, Chris Morse, opened the gardens of her home, The Deane House, Sparsholt, to over 100 guests in support of The Great Get Together. Visitors heard about Friends of the Family’s work whilst enjoying drinks and canapés on the patio before exploring the gardens. The Great Get Together marked the anniversary of the death of Jo Cox MP and was a new initiative which aims to bring local people together and celebrate all that unites them. Our thanks go to Chris and Richard Morse for opening their gardens for this event and for everyone’s generous donations which raised £1,300 for Friends of the Family.
