New befrienders ready and waiting!

Five new volunteer befrienders have completed their two day training course and are ready to spend two hours a week offering support and friendship to a local child, aged between 5 and 13 years.

New volunteer David, who also volunteers with our Mums and Under 5s said “I am here because I love being with children. I have a great relationship with my grandchildren and I can see how spending quality time with them on a one-to-one basis can benefit them.”
