Volunteers get together for lunch

On Thursday 8 March, eight volunteers joined Sam and Lisa, from the 5s to 13s Befriending Service, for a ploughman’s lunch at the Friends Meeting House, Winchester. Everyone enjoyed a delicious spread of breads, cheeses, chutneys and fruit whilst sharing ideas to help each other in the befriending role. The hot topic of the day was the process of how volunteers manage the end of the 12 month befriending period. Several volunteers who had been through this process were able to support others by sharing their own experiences.
