Car Boot Fundraising!

For their Year 8 Leavers Project local boys Seb and Fred decided to do a boot sale with their unwanted items to raise funds for Friends of the Family. Both boys de cluttered their bedrooms of old cricket bats, books, toys and even a giant  panda head to fill their table at Avington House Car Boot Sale on Saturday 1st July. During the morning they sold most of their unwanted items and raised a whopping £140 for Friends of the Family. The boys dropped into the FOTF office to present the cash to Sam Hunt, 5s to 13s Befriending Manager. She said “It’s fantastic to receive Fred and Seb’s donation, the boys and their mums work hard to clear out and sell their unwanted items our behalf. We are always so grateful to anyone who wants to raise funds for us and we are always happy to support them. Thanks boys (and mums) for all your hard work!”
