Theatre Royal staff lead Drama Workshop
On Wednesday 6th February, Jo Wright, Head of Creative Learning at The Theatre Royal led a drama workshop for ten, 5s to13s, focus children and their volunteers.
Jo joined the children for picnic tea at the Salvation Army before embarking on some fun drama games and activities. The children and volunteers all joined in with the fun tasks that Jo set. She helped the children think about what their body might be communicating when it is in different positions and the children worked collaboratively with partners to ‘create’ super heroes. They also played a fun game of “Zip Zap” which ended up with lots of hysterical laughter as many of the volunteers were unable to keep up with all the Zipping, Zapping and Reflectoring that was involved!!
