From an Hour to Forever

Our work with vulnerable families and young children is being showcased in a new virtual event at Winchester Cathedral.

Called From an Hour to Forever, the event highlights the work of 22 charities across Hampshire which offer support to vulnerable families and children, ranging from ‘an hour of mentoring or counselling, to adoptive families for those children who need a forever family, with a whole range of compassionate interventions in between.’ It also offers viewers a chance to have a virtual look around the cathedral.

The project has been commissioned by the High Sheriff of Hampshire, Revd Sue Colman, who visited Friends of the Family last summer and is championing early intervention charities. In her introduction, the High Sheriff says she hopes that everyone viewing the event will think about what they can do to help.
