PRESS RELEASE: Trustee opportunities in Winchester

In Grants/funding, Media, Mums' support, Volunteering

Friends of the Family has two opportunities to join its Board of Trustees, following the retirement of two long-serving trustees earlier this year. Both trustee roles require experienced, enthusiastic people who will be given the chance to shape and support the development of the charity’s work across the Winchester district.

Applicants will have professional experience of working with vulnerable families and children or a strong background in fundraising and grant applications. Trustees also need to be able to attend monthly Board meetings.

Karen Hazlitt, Chair of Trustees, said: “These are great opportunities to make a real difference to the lives of individuals that come to us for support. If you are looking for a rewarding and challenging voluntary role and you have the specific skills and experience required, then we would love to hear from you.”

Further details and an application form are available from www.fotfwinchester.org/about-us/vacancies or call 01962 864466. Application forms must be received by 1st October.
